Last year's films

Feel free to peruse the list of films that Shiri and I saw last year at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

As you can see, many went on to critical acclaim and even moderate box office success (Once made 14 million but was produced for $160,000) while others faded into obscurity. A handful of these were so forgettable I that I can't honestly remember them at all.

Chicago 10
Strange Culture
Expired
Delirious
The Savages
Rocket Science
Broken English
Slipstream
Reprise
Snow Angels
Teeth
Adrift in Manhattan
Starting Out in the Evening
Save Me
Interview
The Good Life
Dedication
Hounddog
On the Road with Judas
Grace is Gone
Zoo
Four Sheets to the Wind
Dark Matter
Summer Rain
Never Forever
If I'd Known I Was a Genius
Angel-A
Once
Fido
Girl 27
For the Bible Tells Me So
The Good Night
Chapter 27
The Go-Getter
Banished
Sweet Mud
La Misma Luna
The Signal
Waitress
Life Support
The Ten
Hot House
Joshua
Hear and Now

Hear and Now will be airing on HBO sometime this year. Make a point to see it.

La Misma Luna has a limited release March 18th, 2008.

Dark Matter will probably not be released any time soon, as its plot may be considered a bit sensitive in light of the Virginia tech tragedy.

Delirious, one of my favorites from last year, got an extremely limited release and did poorly for no reason. Maybe it will fare better on Netflix.
