The Wave

This afternoon we watched the world premiere of a German film called The Wave. It was based on the true story of the teacher who conducted a classroom experiment to show his students the ills of autocracy only to see the project take on a sinister life of its own. The film was excellent!  The soundtrack was powerhouse and the story was intriguing. Recommended!!

Very cool - the teacher who actually taught the lesson on which the film (and also a short story, novel and after school special) was based attended the screening and answered questions after. Just one of many reasons I love Sundance!!
